The media and the American left have been going after Donald Trump since the day he announced his candidacy. Since 2015, it’s been a non-stop bash-fest that escalated as the election drew to a close. His election launched liberals into a full-blown frenzy and the coverage has been overwhelmingly negative.
Now President Trump is hitting back and calling this behavior exactly what it is – a political witch hunt.
After being informed that a special counsel was formed by the Department of Justice to oversee the investigation into possible Russian influence in the 2016 Presidential election, President Trump took to Twitter to vent his frustrations.
He first posted a tweet that read “With all of the illegal acts that took place in the Clinton campaign & Obama Administration, there was never a special councel [sic] appointed!” It was later deleted.
Following that he announced that what is happening to him is “the single greatest witch hunt of a politician in American history!”
This is the single greatest witch hunt of a politician in American history!

101 Things All Young Adults Should Know
by Sir John Hawkins
John Hawkins’s book 101 Things All Young Adults Should Know is filled with lessons that newly minted adults need in order to get the most out of life. Gleaned from a lifetime of trial, error, and writing it down, Hawkins provides advice everyone can benefit from in short, digestible chapters.
Trump released a statement regarding the ongoing investigation into potential connections with Russia, and how that may have affected the outcome of the Presidential election.
“As I have stated many times, a thorough investigation will confirm what we already know — there was no collusion between my campaign and any foreign entity. I look forward to this matter concluding quickly. In the meantime, I will never stop fighting for the people and the issues that matter most to the future of our country.”
Indeed, Trump announced on Twitter that he will be traveling abroad and will be “strongly protecting American interests.” He did not offer any particulars on the meetings he will be attending, or what will be discussed.
Getting ready for my big foreign trip. Will be strongly protecting American interests – that’s what I like to do!

So do you think that the media is unjustly targeting Trump simply because he wasn’t the candidate they wanted to win? To me it seems that they are being suspiciously rabid toward him and are trying to greatly influence public opinion of his actions.
