Kevin Gates has been pretty quiet musically since dropping his Murder for Hire 2 EP last year, but this week he returned with a new single called “What If” despite currently being locked up in Illinois. The song, produced by Ben Billions and Infamous, lifts from Joan Osborne’s classic “One of Us,” and it’s an excellent song.

Joey Bada$$ has finally blessed us with his official sophomore album All-Amerikkkan Bada$$. We could choose a whole host of tracks on the LP, but the posse cut “Ring the Alarm” with Nyck Caution and Meechy Darko is a winner.

French Montana dropped two new songs, “No Pressure” with Future and “Unforgettable” with Swae Lee. The second one has been highly anticipated for months after a snippet circulated online, and the final CDQ is a glorious listen.

Tee Grizzley came through with one of the best rap projects of the year so far on My Moment, and it’s hard to choose a standout—every track is crazy. But the outro “My Testimony” feels like a step above everything else on the tape. Read our in-depth interview with the rising Detroit rapper if you missed it.

Kap G and Chris Brown also dropped a dope collab off Kap’s upcoming Supa Jefe project, and Wiki dropped off a quick joint with Black Milk off his upcoming album. Listen to all these tracks below.
